A New Shire-wide Local Environment Plan Update

The Wingecarribee Our Future Strategic Plan, which was adopted by Council in late 2002, forms the foundation of a new Shire-wide Local Environmental Plan, or LEP, as it is more commonly known.  Council has now received permission from the NSW Department of Planning to place the draft LEP on public exhibition.  The exhibition period will begin on Wednesday 28 November 2007 and will continue to Friday 1 February 2008.  Submissions will be received from 28 November 2007 until the close of business on 29 February 2008.
