Our Council
In the Wingecarribee Shire we have nine Councillors. In some other Local Government areas there are as few as 5 and a many as 15 Councillors. They are elected for a four year term and each year, the Councillors vote for one of their members to be the Mayor. The current Council was elected in 2008 and the next election will be held in 2012.
The Mayor is Councillor Duncan Gair.
The Deputy Mayor is Councillor Ken Halstead.

Council meetings are held at 3pm on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month in the Council Chambers at Moss Vale, with meetings open to the public. Meet our Key Personnel:
